Mike has served as Park City Gun Club’s Director of Training for the past four years. Previously, Mike spent 22 years as a respected member of the Utah Highway Patrol, and served as the head of that organization’s SWAT division for nine years. He concluded his active law enforcement career as a Summit County Deputy Sheriff. Mike has extensive experience developing pistol, rifle, and shotgun training programs and is a key team leader for the development of the Park City Gun Club’s training curriculum. He is a certified NRA Instructor with extensive knowledge of firearms and is available to consult with customers concerning firearms purchases. Mike is available by appointment for private and group training sessions.
Nick is an owner of Park City Gun Club. He is a student at the University of Utah majoring in Business, and a graduate of Park City High School. Nick is a certified NRA Instructor, and has been instructing at Park City Gun Club since 2013. Nick loves to introduce new shooters to the sport and is available by appointment for private and group training sessions. In addition to shooting, Nick is a passionate motorsports enthusiast and instructs in that field as well.
Dan is an owner and Director of PCGC. He is an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor in several disciplines, and is also a Utah BCI Instructor for Concealed Carry permits. Dan has over 30 years of shooting experience and has received extensive training that includes over a dozen courses at FrontSight Firearms Training Institute in Nevada. He has degrees from Harvard Law School and Stanford University. When he’s not at the range, Dan spends time both in Park City and Florida with his wife Jenny and their six children. In addition to shooting, Dan loves golf, skiing, tennis, and fitness.
Roger is an owner and director of the Park City Gun Club and has been involved in shooting sports for more than 30 years. He is a certified Utah BCI Instructor for Concealed Carry, a certified NRA Instructor, and has undergone extensive training at the Front Sight Academy. He regularly participates in Utah Police Society training events. Roger was elected to the Summit County Council and currently serves as Chair. He has also been providing sophisticated legal representation to clients in the entertainment industry for over 17 years and currently operates his own private law practice. Roger resides in Park City with his wife Beth and son Brett.
Rod grew up in Draper, Utah and has been working in the firearms Industry since 2007, managing gun stores and shooting ranges in the Salt Lake City valley. Rod serves as Park City Gun Club’s Gunsmith, and is a certified armorer for over 60 different guns, having earned certifications from the American Gunsmithing Institute as well as from Glock, Sig Sauer, and a number of other manufacturers. Rod loves not only fixing and maintaining guns, but also helping people customize their firearms with cerakoting and selection of different parts and modifications. He is an expert on suppressors, fully automatic guns, as well as NFA weapons, regulations, and procedures.
Lee was born and raised in Utah. He started shooting at eight years old and grew up hunting. He is also a certified Glock armorer. In addition to four years in the Army, Lee has over six years experience in retail gun sales including positions at Sportsman’s Warehouse and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Lee loves the outdoors and is always looking for great outdoor shooting locations.
Jamie is the Park City Gun Club’s Retail Manager and is a renowned shooting sports enthusiast. He gained extensive firearms retail experience, first at Sportsman’s Warehouse, and most recently at an indoor shooting range in Salt Lake City. Prior to his retail firearms career, Jamie was an infantry soldier in the U.S. Army and has always been an avid outdoorsman, often participating in handgun competitions and precision rifle events. Jamie is an armorer with certifications from FN, Glock, Colt, and the U.S. Army. He is also one of Park City Gun Club’s NRA-certified Range Safety Officers.
